Everything you need to know before your visit: how a first consultation unfolds, the documents to bring, billing and questions of insurance.
How does a first consultation work?
After booking you receive a confirmation by e-mail along with an intake form. Completing it in advance lets us know your history and devote the consultation to what matters.
Please arrive a few minutes early. The consultation includes a full examination, any necessary X-rays and time to discuss what you are hoping for.
You leave with a diagnosis, a treatment plan and, where the situation allows, an estimate of the costs before any procedure.
Practical information
Photo identification, your insurance card, a list of any medication you are taking and, where relevant, recent X-rays or reports.
In Switzerland, dental care is as a rule not covered by basic health insurance. Depending on your situation, supplementary insurance or accident cover may apply: we invite you to check your terms with your insurer. Cost details are given to you before any procedure.
Something come up? Let us know as early as you can, so the slot can be offered to another patient. A call, or a reply to your confirmation e-mail, is enough.
